The MERZEES are a self contained BEATLES tribute act specialising in recreating that fantastic sound and the look of the greatest ever band of the 1960's'
The show is full of NUMBER ONE HITS from all those fantastic albums and the hour long experience, complete with full light show and costume changes, will take you the listener back to the magic that was the SWINGING SIXTIES
Where do we begin? Ian and Steve first met in the early eighties in Liverpool.They decided to get a band together and make millions. The first part they succeeded in doing, however they are still waiting for the money. The Band toured all those top venues in and around the North west which gave them the grounding for playing and handling anything and any crowd they would play in front of in the future.After a number of years the band split and Ian and Steve went their separate ways in search of fortune and fame with other musical outfits.
Steve joined a 60's act and spent time on the European Armed Forces Entertainment circuit. Also a great deal of touring the length and breadth of the UK's cabaret venues and holiday parks.
Meantime Ian joined a few local bands enjoying the Social Club circuits of the North west. At the end of the Nineties Ian and Stevens paths crossed again and after a few rehearsals it was time to share The MERZEES with the rest of the World
